Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

First Things First

We know our disgrace of a fake president is a corrupt, ignorant, lying, man-baby.  He's wrong in every way that it's possible to be wrong.  The friggin' loudmouth lunatic angers and shocks us, and that's a good thing.  Hold on to those feelings, and don't let him normalize his shit show.

Just 20 days away now, the midterm elections will be a national referendum on Trump.  You know the Asshole-In-Chief will be ramping up his public grotesqueries, but now we must take little notice of his antics and stay focused on the task at hand.

First things first.  We need to regain some power and the way to do that is TURN OUT and VOTE!  Send the Mango Mussolini a clear message.  And the clearest possible message will be to heed the advice of former Republicans Michael Bloomberg and George Will and vote Democratic up and down the ballot -- federal, state and local.  Everywhere at every level, the GOP candidates are just slavish enablers -- the president's poodles.  Reject them.

If we show up, we can have a huge impact.  Then afterward, we can get back to the fun stuff like discussing impeachment, indictment, or even running his "239-pound" ass out of town on a rail, tarred and feathered.  Old school!

  1. Vote Republican. Save your future.
Progressivism/Socialism is a disease that is nothing but a race to the bottom.
If you want to be the "lowest common denominator"; be relegated to your assigned position in society based on your identity as determined by those in political power; and put every aspect of your lives in the hands of faceless government officials, please vote Democratic.
If you choose the Progressive/Socialist platform, You and all Americans(except, of course, those party members in control of the endless array of government programs) are to become poor, cold, hungry and stupid while sitting in the dark.

  2. Absolutely correct Anonymous.
The Democratic Party has been taken over by the socialists and communists. If democrats want to save their party, the only way to do it is to vote Republican and defeat socialism now, before it is too late for their party.
