Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

He's Bug-Nutty, And He's On A Roll

Are you waiting, hoping, praying for a day with no Crazy-Trump news?  Well, today's not the day.  In fact, it was fairly thick with Crazy-Trump.

According to MSNBC's Joe Scarborough, Trump recently asked a foreign policy adviser why we couldn't use our nuclear weapons.  Asked three times in an hour briefing.  Essentially, we have them, so why can't we use them?

Trump claimed his anti-Muslim immigration "policy" would have prevented the 9/11 attacks.

Trump is refusing to endorse Paul Ryan or John McCain, although both have "endorsed" him.

His serially stupid campaign aide Katrina Pierson blamed the policies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the death of Army Captain Humayun Khan in Iraq in 2004.  President Obama and Secretary Clinton did not take office until 2009.

And, oh yeah, he threw a crying baby out of a rally in Virginia.  "I love babies!"  "Get that baby outta here."

Yep, it was just another bug-nutty day in a long string of bug-nutty days for The Donald.  What a candidate!
