Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

No Donnie, More Guns Is Not The Answer

Holding crib notes to remind him how to pretend to be sympathetic, the fake president had his "listening session" today with the families of the victims of the Parkland school massacre.  Yes, to meet with parents grieving over their murdered children, the guy who's a "stable genius" and "like, really smart" needed a cheat sheet so he could remember to make his butthole lips speak words such as, "What would you want me to know?" and "I hear you."

Sincerity.  If you can fake that, you've got it made.

What a friggin' farce!  By narrowly focusing on "school safety," Donnie Dipstick is obviously going full NRA.  He sat there nodding and trying to look concerned, then puked up his big ideas -- armed teachers and more mental hospitals.  OMFG!  So much for listening.

One more time -- we need fewer guns in fewer places, not more.  Arming teachers is a horrible idea.  And our national gun problem goes way beyond mental illness.

Until we vote out all the NRA whores, I despair.
