Speaking with members of the press aboard Air Force One, President Donald Trump mentioned he’s reconsidering negotiating with Senate Democrats regarding people protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
The sudden change in his tone in the ongoing “Dreamers” debate came following a detour on the president’s most recent speaking tour.

“The McDonald’s was closed for renovations, so I had the Secret Service pick me up something from the combo KFC/Taco Bell. Have you tried the nacho fries? Have you heard of these? French fries AND Mexican food all mixed together. It really helps you understand the beautiful, beautiful melting pot that this country is. A big old melting pot full of nacho cheese. That you can dip fries into.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded to the president’s comments.
“Yeah, after a couple doobies and a big ol’ Pepsi, they are pretty awesome.”
