Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

Free Fallin'

I'm not talking about the song by the late, great Tom Petty.

I'm talking about the lately not-so-great Cleveland Cavaliers.  After three straight NBA finals appearances and one championship, and a good start this season, including a 13-game win streak, the Cavs have turned to shit.  Since Christmas, they're 7-12 and capable of losing to anyone, including a team from your local rec league.  They're old and slow, don't shoot well and won't play defense.  Love is out, Bron-Bron is pouting, and there's bad ju-ju all around.

They're still on top of their division but sinking like a stone.  If the current trend continues, they'll soon fall out of the playoff picture.

It's ugly.  Aaack!!
