Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

Hyping Her New Hit Single, "White Lies"

There have been many popular songs about lies:  "Lyin' Eyes" by the Eagles, "Sweet Little Lies" by Fleetwood Mac, "Liar" by Three Dog Night, "Lie To Me" by Jonny Lang, and "Would I Lie To You?" by the Eurhythmics, to name but a few.

"Had to lie, Gotta fly, Bye-bye!"
But none have had such an immediate impact as the new smash hit single, "White Lies" by Hope Hicks and the Communicators.  It features that irresistible lyrical hook, "This job sometimes requires me to tell white lies."

Today, Hope announced she's leaving the White House immediately.  She and her group will be playing "White Lies," her earlier hit "It Was Primarily About Russian Adoption," and spinning many new tunes on a big national tour.

Word is Robert Mueller is a huge fan of her work.
