State Board Of Education President Says It Was Just A "Mistake"

Gun nut, right wing dingbat Debe Terhar says she's sorry about that Facebook post, she'll be more careful, and she just made a "mistake."  Gov. Kasich refuses to fire her and agrees she just made a mistake. 

Hey, we all make mistakes, right?  I burned my toast this morning, but it was just a mistake.  The head of the State Board of Education shows her lack of it by equating the President to Adolph Hitler, but that was just a mistake.  Hitler tried to take over all of Europe and killed millions of people, but -- Ach!  Oopsie! -- das ist nur eine Boo-boo! 

Buster finds all the apologies half-hearted and unconvincing.

P.S. --   Setting aside her horrible judgment in posting  such a quote, there is apparently no record that Hitler ever said it.  (See the good comment on the 1/22 "Terhar Must Go" post.)  Still, it's the thoughtless thought that counts, isn't it?  Terhar thought he said it and many other like-minded morons also thought he said it.
