Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

Pray Away The ACA

Oh my.  In a recent radio interview (on the American Family Radio network, because no one else will talk to her these days), Rep. Michele Bachmann declared that she's still praying for the repeal of Obamacare and is confident it will happen soon because "God listens to his people."  (God prioritizes prayers and those from Obama-haters rank near the top!)  She cautioned that repeal is not guaranteed and "we've got to do a lot of work  . . .  particularly on our knees in prayer."

I don't know which is worse -- her statement itself, or the fact that this dim-witted twat-waffle was ever elected in the first place.
