When Exactly Did This Ever Seem Like A Good Idea?


I am not making this up.

Because Michigan is a state with one of those moronic open-carry gun laws, the Durand, Mich. school district has developed this Open-Carry Gun Protocol flow-chart for use by front-desk staff.

Durand school administrators admit that at each decision point on the chart, they forgot to add "Shit yourself!!!"


Wouldn't it have been a better idea to not allow guns in schools at all?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to legally prohibit the open carry of all firearms everywhere?

But no, they're way too smart for that in Michigan.

And now dear old Miss McGillicuddy at the check-in desk is gonna have fun with her flow-chart.  Great job, Michigan!
