Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

The Pope Goes Top Forty
I did not know this until recently, and it's tres cool. Pope Francis is a rock star, literally. Frankie's message of peace, love and economic justice is a global hit. The progressive pontiff has a new album of his speeches -- in four languages -- mixed with some pseudo-progressive pop/rock music. Sixteenth century popes are rolling over in their graves!
I'm not religious, but I love Frankie! Relax!
From the album Pope Francis "Wake Up!", here is Papa Francisco doing the title cut, "Wake Up! Go! Go! Forward!" (And it's OK to skip the first two minutes of instrumental intro.)
This blog is offered as an amusement to any open-minded, liberal-leaning readers who may stumble upon it, and as an educational service to the closed-minded conservative crowd.
I hope you like it. If you don't, get your own blog.
