Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

I Say "Would," You Say "Wouldn't." Let's Call The Whole Thing Off

The Answer to "Where Do We Go From Here?":  We Go To Lies (As Always)

In a stunning display of high-speed revisionism, our fake president returned home to blistering crtiticism and decided to read some lame prepared remarks claiming he meant to say "wouldn't," not "would."  No one believes this latest lie-of-the-moment.

1.  Who among us, making such an obvious, polar-opposite verbal slip of the tongue, wouldn't recognize it immediately and correct it instantly?

2.  Who believes this weak-ass walk-back anyway?  He said exactly what he meant in Helsinki, got a raft of well-deserved shit for it, and is now trying to lie his way out of it.
