Welcome to Buster's Blog

Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.

Donny Uses His Words

Last week Dolt 45 visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture and saw some things he'd obviously never seen or thought about before.  It was a deeply moving experience for our Loutish Leader, and he summoned up all his eloquence and boundless empathy.

Observing a stone auction block once used to sell slaves, he said, "Boy, that is just not good.  That is not good."

While viewing a set of leg shackles, he commented, "That is really bad.  That is really bad."
