Irregular commentary on whatever's on my mind -- politics, sports, current events, and life in general. After twenty years of writing business and community newsletters, fifteen years of fantasy baseball newsletters, and two years of email "columns", this is, I suppose, the inevitable result: the awful conceit that someone might actually care to read what I have to say. Posts may be added often, rarely, or never again. As always, my mood and motivation are unpredictable.
Yesterday, National Public Radio commemorated the 4th of July by transcribing the Declaration of Independence on Dolt 45's favorite medium, Twitter. At 140 characters a tweet, it took awhile.
As the tweets accumulated, confused Trump fans went nuts, lashing out on both Twitter and Facebook. "NPR has been hacked!" "Propaganda!" "Are you drunk?" "Glad you're being defunded."The poor stupid deplorables were clueless as to what they were reading, and became convinced that NPR was advocating revolution and inciting violence! LOL!
It's like I always say: Ignorance can be fixed, but stupid is forever.
"Oh, you mean that big black thing parked directly in front of Air Force One's boarding stairs? That's my limo? No wonder I missed it -- I was expecting one made of solid gold."
In so many ways, Donnie Dolly-hands is blind to the obvious.
Sinclair Broadcast Group is the country's largest owner of local TV stations. Sinclair is run by a bunch of hard-right wingnuts who make no secret of their political persuasion, and who require their local minions recite the company line, often word for word. This means that Sinclair stations may be local, but they're not giving you news -- they're giving you propaganda.
Here in Columbus, we have two Sinclair TV channels -- WSYX, Channel 6, our local ABC affiliate, and WTTE, Channel 28, our local Fox affiliate (big surprise, eh?). If you watch either of these channels for anything other than sports, please consider other programming. And if you watch either for local news, you need your head examined. You're watching shit. The "talent" and production values are schlocky-cheap Junior Achievement, and the content drips with partisanship.

It's a re-done old clip of Drumpf fake-pummeling the WWE's Vince McMahon, which was disgusting enough. Now this, from the imbecile who somehow managed to become president. It's . . . words fail.
There's nothing wrong with having a Twitter account. But's there's everything wrong with how Dolt 45 uses his.
And if anything is a "fraud," it's this asshole.
