Character Matters
Since the FBI's sex and booze "investigation" has apparently been hamstrung by our Pussy-Grabber-In-Chief, let's throw a Hail Mary and take one last slightly different look at BooFFFFy Bart before he gets jammed onto the Court.
Out of law school, he clerked for Judge Ken Starr.
When Starr left the bench for the Office of Independent Counsel, a.k.a. the Clinton-Lewinsky blow-job impeachment, Kavanaugh was Starr's eager assistant.
He worked for the G. Dubya Bush campaign in the infamous Florida recount.
He joined the Bush adminstration, working to pack the federal courts with conservative nominees, and develop policies for illegal torture and warrantless wiretapping.
Although he'd never even been a trial judge, Bush rewarded Kavanaugh with an appointment to the U.S. Appeals Court in 2003, but he wasn't confirmed until 2006, due to his history of rank demogoguery and his hidebound rubber-stamp decisions.
He was a longtime member of the ultra-right Federalist Society, Trump's de facto judicial selection service. The Federalist Society recommended Kavanaugh to Trump.
So here we are. (The following is my email to Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, Shelley Moore Capito, and just for the hell of it, one more time to spineless Rob Portman.)

Brett Kavanaugh has never been a trial judge, but he is a proven, habitual liar, lying about everything from stolen documents to his personal background. He's a blatantly partisan political hack with a lousy temperament. He's unworthy of confirmation. Character matters. I hope it matters to you.
If you give him a lifetime seat, you'll forever destroy the perception of an objective, impartial, apolitical Supreme Court. Our Judicial Branch will become another sectarian political circus, just like the Executive and the Legislative.
Here's your chance to do the right thing and reject the Trumpism running rampant in your party.
Don't blow it. Vote NO on Kavanaugh!
