The Pew Research Center has found that
a third of Americans don't accept the fact of evolution. Standing out among the various groups studied, large majorities of both
Republicans and
white evangelicals say they believe in creationism and they believe that humans have existed in their present form since the beginning of time.
Given that these people spend all their time inside the echo chamber with each other, it's hardly surprising they've come to this conclusion!
